How To Use A Different Place After familiarizing yourself with the characteristics of gifted students and reasons/ways to differentiate curriculum consider using A Different Place as an alternative to classroom activities. You will need to familiarize yourself with the activity and think about the classroom logistics; which computer will be used? how much time will be allotted? what form will activity assessment take? Will the student initially need adult supervision, i.e. parent volunteer. When available, answer keys will be provided. Many activities will rely on student journaling or reflection for assessment.
